ACRYLITE® SunResist ZS61 Polymer

ACRYLITE® SunResist ZS61 Polymer by Roehm is an impact-modified, amorphous polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) grade. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and co-extrusion. Exhibits high heat-, weather-, scratch-, chemical-, abrasion and stress cracking resistance. It offers enhanced UV light absorption, good melt flow rate, and low lubricant levels. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It forms an ultra‑thin co‑extruded protective layer that blocks harmful UV light up to 400 nm, helping preserve color and surface integrity and reducing fading and degradation over time. </li> <li>It exhibits high UV light resistance, durability and excellent transmission. </li> <li>It provides high flexural strength, strong notched izod impact resistance, and elevated heat deflection temperature. </li> <li>It elevates finished parts with a premium surface quality. </li> <li>Offers precise gloss control and surface hardness, enabling high-end aesthetics without sacrificing robustness. </li> <li>It is recommended for outdoor applications including outdoor furniture, transportation, recreational components, and sanitaryware (pools, shower panels, outdoor sinks and spa). </li> <li>It is used in building and constructions, including window profiles, doors, decking, cladding, siding, railing and fencing. </li> <li>ACRYLITE® SunResist ZS61 Polymer is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.</li></ul>

CYROLITE® MD H12

CYROLITE® MD H12 by Roehm is an amorphous polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) grade. It exhibits excellent dimensional stability, exceptional ultra-violet light transmittance, superior optical clarity, maximum flow characteristics and outstanding scratch resistance.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides medium melt flow rate and higher vicat softening point.</li> <li>It can be processed in injection molding machines and extrusion lines with 3- zone general purpose screws.</li> <li>CYROLITE® MD H12 is recommended for medical devices requiring UV spectroscopy for fluid evaluation, like cuvettes, rotors, well plates, diagnostic test packs, microfluidics and crystallography trays.</li> <li>It meets requirements of the US Pharmacopeia Class VI in colorless only, ISO 10993-1 and FDA 21 CFR 176.170 for food contact for all use conditions upto and including hot filled or pasteurized above 150°F.</li></ul>

PLEXIMID® TT70

PLEXIMID® TT70 by Roehm is a highly heat distortion resistant poly(n-methyl methacrylimide) (PMMI). Exhibits excellent transmission and clarity, very high mechanical strength and rigidity and good weather resistance. Possesses high stability of the optical characteristics at long-lasting thermal load and highest heat deflection temperature under load. It is supplied as aluminum-laminated pellets of uniform size. PLEXIMID® TT70 is particularly suitable for processing by injection molding with standard 3-zone general purpose screws for thermoplastics. Used in applications that involve maximum thermal loads such as lenses, light guides, lighting fixtures and covers.
