ACRYLITE® SunResist ZS61 Polymer by Roehm is an impact-modified, amorphous polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) grade. It is suitable for processing by injection molding and co-extrusion. Exhibits high heat-, weather-, scratch-, chemical-, abrasion and stress cracking resistance. It offers enhanced UV light absorption, good melt flow rate, and low lubricant levels.
  • It forms an ultra‑thin co‑extruded protective layer that blocks harmful UV light up to 400 nm, helping preserve color and surface integrity and reducing fading and degradation over time.
  • It exhibits high UV light resistance, durability and excellent transmission.
  • It provides high flexural strength, strong notched izod impact resistance, and elevated heat deflection temperature.
  • It elevates finished parts with a premium surface quality.
  • Offers precise gloss control and surface hardness, enabling high-end aesthetics without sacrificing robustness.
  • It is recommended for outdoor applications including outdoor furniture, transportation, recreational components, and sanitaryware (pools, shower panels, outdoor sinks and spa).
  • It is used in building and constructions, including window profiles, doors, decking, cladding, siding, railing and fencing.
