PLEXIMID® TT70 by Roehm is a highly heat distortion resistant poly(n-methyl methacrylimide) (PMMI). Exhibits excellent transmission and clarity, very high mechanical strength and rigidity and good weather resistance. Possesses high stability of the optical characteristics at long-lasting thermal load and highest heat deflection temperature under load. It is supplied as aluminum-laminated pellets of uniform size. PLEXIMID® TT70 is particularly suitable for processing by injection molding with standard 3-zone general purpose screws for thermoplastics. Used in applications that involve maximum thermal loads such as lenses, light guides, lighting fixtures and covers.
