ACRYLITE® Heatresist™ hw55 by Roehm is a copolymer based on methyl methacrylate (MMA) with comonomer constituents. It offers excellent weather resistance, high light transmission, high mechanical strength, high surface hardness and mar resistance. It provides good melt flow rate and versatile colorability due to crystal clarity. It exhibits high heat resistance, high melt strength and improved resistance to isopropyl alcohol. It is processed by injection molding processes under high thermal stress. ACRYLITE® Heatresist™ hw55 is suitable for automotive rear light lenses, lighted keys, light covers, reflex lenses and fog light lenses. ACRYLITE® Heatresist™ FT15 by Roehm is a copolymer based on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It offers thickness and flow path ratios. It exhibits a high heat deflection temperature under load and improved flow. ACRYLITE® Heatresist™ FT15 is recommended for injection molding and extrusion processes. It is suitable for lighting technologies, automotive & transportation and electronic & communication.
