PALATAL® A 400-01 FC by AOC is an unfilled, multipurpose, high reactivity, medium viscosity unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on isophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured using 1.0g butanox M 50 (AKZO-Nobel) and 1.0g accelerator NL 49P (AKZO-Nobel) added to 100g of resin. Provides outstanding hydrolysis resistance and low water absorption. Suitable for processing by filament winding and pultrusion. Designed for use in food contact & potable water applications and glass reinforced parts with improved mechanical properties. Recommended for industrial, buildings & infrastructure, tanks, vessels, hydraulic engineering pipes and parts. PALATAL® A 400-01 FC conforms to LLOYDS approval, DIN 16 946/2 type 1140 and is classified in group 2 according to DIN 18 820/1. PALATAL® P 4L-21 by AOC is UV stabilized, medium viscosity, unreinforced, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with with 1ml MEKP-HA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.2 ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g resin. Exhibits medium reactivity, good light stability and weathering resistance. Suitable for the production of internal stress free laminates. Recommended for the production of glass fiber reinforced flat and corrugated sheets. Translucent sheets made from PALATAL® P 4L-21 reinforced with E-glass fibers show light diffusion. Conforms to type 1120 according to DIN 16946/2 and is classified in group 0 according to DIN 18820/1. PALATAL® P 51-01 by AOC is a high reactivity, unfilled, medium viscosity unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on tetrahydrophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with Cured with 1ml AAP-NA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.4ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene). Offers good resistance to crack and styrene attack. Suitable for processing by spray-up and hand lay-up. Used in the production of glass fiber reinforced moldings that can withstand both high mechanical and dynamic loads including pressure tanks and pipes. PALATAL® P 51-01 is designed for industrial, marine, consumer, buildings & infrastructure and transportation applications. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140 and DIN 18820/1 group 1. PALATAL® P 80-02 by AOC is a low viscosity, unfilled, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1.0ml MEKP-HA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.2ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g resin. Exhibits high reactivity, very good mechanical properties, excellent impregnation behavior and easy processing. Suitable for processing by hand lay-up, spray-up, filament winding and injection molding. Recommended for glass fiber reinforced moldings, artificial stones, polymer concrete and industrial applications. PALATAL® P 80-02 conforms to type 1140 according to DIN 16 946/2 and is classified in group 1 according to DIN 18 820/1. PALATAL® P 61-01 by AOC is an unreinforced, unsaturated polyester resin based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1ml MEKP-HA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.4ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g resin. Exhibits high reactivity and medium viscosity. Suitable for processing by spray-up, hand lay-up and filament winding. Used in the production of glass fiber reinforced moldings that have a low cracking susceptibility and high resistance to heat deformation. PALATAL® P 61-01 is recommended for pipes, press moldings, tanks and industrial applications. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140 and DIN 18820/1 group 1. PALATAL® P 50-01 by AOC is a medium reactivity, low viscosity, unfilled, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1.0ml MEKP-HA2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.2ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g resin. Exhibits excellent impregnation behavior during the production of glass fiber reinforced moldings. Suitable for processing by hand lay-up, spray-up and injection molding. PALATAL® P 50-01 is designed for the production of artificial stone and polymer concrete. Recommended for industrial, marine, consumer, buildings & infrastructure and transportation applications. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1120, DIN 18820/1 group 0 and LLOYDS approval. PALATAL® A 410-01 by AOC is a medium reactivity, medium viscosity, unfilled, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on isophthalic acid and neopentylglycol, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured using 1.0g trigonox 44 B (AKZONobel) and 0.5g accelerator NL 49P (AKZO-Nobel) added to 100g resin. Offers excellent mechanical & electrical properties and high chemical resistance to the glass fiber reinforced moldings. Suitable for processing by hand lay up and spray up. Designed for tanks & containers in plant construction, industrial, buildings & infrastructure, corrosion protection, boats and electric applications. Also used as an adhesion promoter between PVC and GRP in the construction of GRP tanks with PVC liners. PALATAL® A 410-01 conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140, DIN 18820/1 group 3 and LLOYDS approval. PALATAL® P 4 TV-128 by AOC is a medium reactivity, low viscosity, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1 ml MEKP-HA 2 (Peroxid Chemie GmbH) and 0.2 ml Co-octoate solution (1 % Co in styrene) added to 100 g resin. It is a preaccelerated grade and contains thixotropic agent. Suitable for processing by hand lay-up and spray up. Designed for the production of thick laminates (>5mm), marine applications and parts which require curing with minimum heat generation. Unreinforced PALATAL® P 4 TV-128 conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1120, DIN 18820/1 group 0, DNV and LLOYDS approval. PALATAL® P 4-01 by AOC is an unreinforced, medium reactivity, medium viscosity, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with 1ml MEK-Peroxide (medium activity) and 0.2 ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene) added to 100g of resin. Suitable for processing by spray up, casting and hand lay up. Applicable for the production of laminates almost free of internal stress. Designed for glass fiber reinforced moldings & the production of polymer concrete and artificial stone. Recommended for industrial, marine, consumer, buildings & infrastructure, artificial stone and transportation. PALATAL® P 4-01 conforms to type 1120 according to DIN 16946/2 and is classified in group 1A according to EN 13 121-1. It is approved by Det Norske Veritas and Lloyd´s Register of Shipping for use in boat building. PALATAL® U 541TV-03 by AOC is a pre-accelerated, unreinforced, unsaturated polyester. It can be cured with 1ml MEKP-HA 2 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.2ml Co-octoate solution (1% Co in styrene). It is based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. Exhibits medium reactivity, low viscosity and low level of styrene emission. Contains barrier forming agents to reduce styrene emission and a thixotropic agent. Suitable for processing by hand lay-up and spray-up. Designed for buildings & infrastructure, production of thin laminates (<5 mm) and marine applications. PALATAL® U 541TV-03 is approved by Det Norske Veritas and LLOYDS Register of Shipping for use in boat building. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1120 and DIN 18820/1 group 0.
