SYNOLITE™ 8388-L-7 by AOC is a low viscous, pre-accelerated, promoted, unsaturated polyester resin. It is a multipurpose, thixotropic and medium reactive grade. It contains styrene and is based on dicyclopentadiene (DCPD). Exhibits low peak exotherm, short demolding time and a good through cure. SYNOLITE™ 8388-L-7 can be processed by hand lay-up and spray-up. Designed for industrial, transportation, buildings & infrastructure, consumer and marine applications. Complies according to RINA under the references Synolite™ 8388-I-1 and I-2. SYNOLITE™ 8488-G-1 by AOC is an unsaturated polyester based on DCPD, dissolved in styrene. Exhibits reduced peak exotherm. Can be processed by resin transfer molding (RTM) and infusion processes. Designed for high productivity cycle times performing an outstanding polymerization degree. Recommended for high quality production GRP parts in marine and transport applications. Synolite™ 8488-G-1 is approved by Det Norske Veritas. SYNOLITE™ 8388-I-1 by AOC is an unsaturated polyester resin, dissolved in styrene. It is a thixotropic, pre-accelerated grade containing a color change indicator. Exhibits very good handling, very good wetting of fiber glass and low print through. It can be cured using 100g resin and 2.0g Butanox M50. SYNOLITE™ 8388-I-1 is suitable for processing by hand lay-up and spray-up. Designed for industrial, marine, consumer, building & infrastructure and transportation. Complies with RINA approval for use in boat building. SYNOLITE™ 8388-N-4 by AOC is a low viscous, medium reactive DCPD based polyester resin. SYNOLITE™ 8388-N-4 is designed for glass fiber reinforced molding parts & the production of polymer concrete, artificial stone and truck flat panels. SYNOLITE™ 0288-I-2 by AOC is an unsaturated isophthalic polyester resin, dissolved in styrene. It is thixotropic, pre-accelerated and contains color change indicator. It can be cured at 15-30°C with medium reactivity methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP). Exhibits excellent wetting of the glass fiber reinforcement, good mechanical properties, low peak exotherm and good workability. It allows wet on wet construction of very thick laminates, without shrinkage or strain problems. It is suitable for processing by hand lay-up and spray-up. Designed for boat building, vertical laminates, marine and infrastructure applications. SYNOLITE™ 0288-I-2 conforms to RINA and LLOYDS approval. SYNOLITE™ 8388-P-1 by AOC is a low viscous, pre-accelerated, promoted, thixotropic, medium reactive DCPD polyester resin. It does not contain monomeric amines. This grade exhibits great surface quality, low shrinkage, good mechanical properties, optimal processability, very good fiber wetting and impregnation properties. It is developed for hand lay-up and spray-up processes with low styrene emission (LSE) system. SYNOLITE™ 8388-P-1 is designed for building & construction, consumer, electrical, infrastructure, food processing, wind and marine applications. It can be used with powder and emulsion bound mats. SYNOLITE™ 8085-X-2 by AOC is an unsaturated polyester resin based on orthophthalic acid and standard glycols, dissolved in styrene. Exhibits medium reactivity & medium viscosity and contains an UV stabilizer. Offers good light stability and weathering resistance. Designed for the production of glass fiber reinforced flat and corrugated sheets. Translucent sheets made from Synolite™ 8085-X-2 reinforced with E-glass fibers show light diffusion. Conforms to type 1120 according to DIN 16 946/2 and is classified in group 0 according to DIN 18 820/1. SYNOLITE™ 8515-N-0 by AOC is a low viscosity, monomer-free unsaturated polyester resin. Possesses excellent wetting properties. It is completely compatible with different types of unsaturated polyester resins. SYNOLITE™ 8515-N-0 is designed for marine, buildings and infrastructure applications. SYNOLITE™ 1035-T-1 by AOC is a non-reinforced, low viscous, thixotropic, unsaturated polyester resin dissolved in styrene. It is based on orthophthalic acid and neopentylglycol. It can be cured with 0.8% perkadox 16, 1.0% trigonox C and 1.0% accelerator NL-49P. Exhibits high reactivity, long pot life (65-120 min), very good hydrolysis and chemical resistance. It is developed for cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) hot cure process. Suitable for processing by relining. SYNOLITE™ 1035-T-1 is designed for buildings and infrastructure applications. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140, DIN 18820/1 group 3 and EN 13 121 part 2 group 4. SYNOLITE™ 7259-U-2 by AOC is a medium viscosity, unsaturated polyester dissolved in styrene. It is pre-accelerated with polymeric amine. Shows excellent storage stability of the final putties. It is designed for the production of putties with excellent adhesion to galvanized surfaces. Putty masses based on Synolite™ 7259-U-2 show very good cold cure behavior as well as excellent adhesion to galvanized substrates.
