PALATAL® A 410-01 by AOC is a medium reactivity, medium viscosity, unfilled, unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on isophthalic acid and neopentylglycol, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured using 1.0g trigonox 44 B (AKZONobel) and 0.5g accelerator NL 49P (AKZO-Nobel) added to 100g resin. Offers excellent mechanical & electrical properties and high chemical resistance to the glass fiber reinforced moldings. Suitable for processing by hand lay up and spray up. Designed for tanks & containers in plant construction, industrial, buildings & infrastructure, corrosion protection, boats and electric applications. Also used as an adhesion promoter between PVC and GRP in the construction of GRP tanks with PVC liners. PALATAL® A 410-01 conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140, DIN 18820/1 group 3 and LLOYDS approval.
