PALATAL® P 92 I-04 by AOC is a high reactivity, medium viscosity unsaturated polyester resin. It is based on isophthalic acid and neopentylglycol, dissolved in styrene. It can be cured with both, conventional curing agents and with low energy UV-light (365-420 nm). Curing agent includes 1.0ml CHP-NA 1 (Peroxid-Chemie GmbH) and 0.1ml Co-octoate solution (1 % in styrene) added to 100g resin. It can be easily thickened by the addition of magnesium oxide. Provides excellent mechanical & electrical properties and outstanding chemical resistance to the glass fiber reinforced parts. PALATAL® P 92 I-04 is suitable for processing by relining. Recommended for tanks, vessels, hydraulic engineering, pipes, boats, corrosion protection and electrical industry. Conforms to DIN 16946/2 type 1140, DIN 18820/1 group 3, and EN 13121 group 4, parts 1 and 2.
