UNITEM® PEI is an amorphous, semi-transparent polyetherimide grade by Nytef Plastics, manufactured from SABIC Innovative Plastics ULTEM resin. Is extremely rigid, dimensionally stable and able to withstand continuous operating temperatures of 340°F. Offers superior resistance to autoclave sanitizing and electronic & semiconductor designers unmatched dielectric properties. Exhibits low moisture absorption and excellent strength even at elevated temperatures. It can be easily machined & fabricated and is available in a full range of heavy gauge rod, plate and tubular bar sizes. UNITEM® PEI is used in medical & pharmaceutical, aircraft & aerospace instrumentation, fluid handling, electrical insulators & component housings, electronics manufacturing, sight glasses, manifolds and microwave communications. Complies with FDA, USDA and UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
