UNITEM® Rg-30 is an amorphous, semi-transparent polyetherimide grade by Nytef Plastics, reinforced with 30% glass fiber and manufactured from SABIC Innovative Plastics ULTEM resin. Is extremely rigid, dimensionally stable and able to withstand continuous operating temperatures of 340°F. Offers superior resistance to autoclave sanitizing and electronic & semiconductor designers unmatched dielectric properties. Exhibits low moisture absorption and improved strength & stiffness even at elevated temperatures. It can be easily machined & fabricated and is available in a full range of heavy gauge rod, plate and tubular bar sizes. UNITEM® Rg-30 is used in medical & pharmaceutical, aircraft & aerospace instrumentation, fluid handling, electrical insulators & component housings, electronics manufacturing, sight glasses, manifolds and microwave communications. UNIPA® MLo is a nylon-6 grade by Nytef Plastics, reinforced with oil. Shows improved wear resistance and low coefficient of friction. Exhibits excellent toughness, superior abrasion resistance and outstanding chemical resistance. Utilizes nylon casting process to produce nylon 6 stock shapes. It can be easily machined & fabricated and is available in rods, plates and tubular bars, produced with very thick cross-sections, uniform physical properties and minimal internal stress levels. UNIPA® MLo is used in food & dairy processing, material handling, fluid handling, electronics manufacturing, automotive, paper manufacturing, textile production, construction and mining industries. Sample applications include pistons, valves, manifolds, food product forming dies, timing screws, scraper blades, wear strips, pump components, electrical components, gears, bushings and bearings. Complies with FDA/USDA, 3-A Dairy and UL 94 HB flame rating.
UNICAR® 1010 is a non-reinforced, highly crystalline polyvinylidene fluoride grade by Nytef Plastics. Exhibits chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, superior strength, excellent toughness, stiffness and stability. Shows extremely low moisture absorption, low permeability to gases & liquids and excellent UV & nuclear radiation resistance. Offers ultra-high purity and excellent electrical properties that remain stable over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. It can be easily machined & fabricated and is available in a full range of heavy gauge rod, plate and tubular bar sizes. UNICAR® 1010 is used in chemical industry, pulp & paper processing, food processing equipments, electrical & electronic products, semiconductor manufacturing and petroleum processing. Sample applications include pump components, manifolds & valves, fluid sensors, liquid chromatography components, analytical instruments, semiconductor manufacturing clean room environments, components for power transmission and bearings & bushings.
