UNINOR® PPO is an amorphous blend of polyphenylene oxide (PPO) and styrene by Nytef Plastics. Exhibits superior blend of physical strength, flame resistance and outstanding electrical properties. Maintains high stiffness and excellent rigidity at elevated temperatures. Shows low moisture absorption, dimensional stability and low coefficient of thermal expansion. It can be easily machined & fabricated and is available in a full range of heavy gauge rod, plate and tubular bar sizes. UNICAR® PPO is used in automotive industry, aircraft & aerospace instrumentation, appliance manufacturing and electrical & electronics manufacturing. Sample applications include microwave communications, manifolds, electrical insulators, connectors & components and business equipment housings. Complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating.
