NORYL™ PPE 640 (Asia) by SABIC is a non-reinforced medium-high molecular weight polyphenylene ether (PPE) grade. It offers improved heat distortion and creep resistance. It is hydrolytically stable and non-hydroscopic. It is soluble in common organic solvents like toluene, chloroform and THF. It is intended for use as an additive or a building block in a variety of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers such as styrenic block copolymers. It is recommended for home appliances, consumer goods, outdoor, additive materials, lawn and landscape applications. NORYL™ PPE 640 (Asia) is used in industrial, composite, coatings, electronic material handling, building and construction. It is suitable for electrical devices, displays, components and infrastructure. Complies with the FDA regulation 21CFR 177..2460 and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
