Nylacast Impact by Nylacast is a polyamide grade. Shows improved insensitivity against internal stresses, sharp edges, notches and scratches. Exhibits good dimensional stability, good PV, improved noise reduction and load bearing capabilities. Offers good thermal- and mechanical properties, improved impact- and chemical resistance. Designed for processing by cast extrusion. Used in petrochemical, aerospace, railways, ship building, pharmaceuticals, steel mills, cranes, quarrying, mining, shoe manufacturing, conveyors, bottling, canning, food and food packaging. Typical applications include rollers, wear pads, switch collar, washers, bearings, load support, roller coaster wheels, dollies, sheaves, wear strips, clamps and bespoke impact ring. Nylacast Impact by Nylacast complies with EC 1907/2006 (REACH), EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 2003/11/EC and UL 94 flame ratings.
