Nano4elec – BioPE EC12 by Nano4 is an electrically conductive bio-based polyethylene (PE) grade by Nano4, reinforced with carbon black. Nano4elec – BioPE EC12 is suitable for processing by injection molding. Possible applications include anti-static flooring, carpets, under-floor heating, heating elements, PTC (positive temperature coefficient) switches, textiles, medical & health care (cleanroom equipments & articles for antistatic workplaces) and transport (mobile phone parts, elevator parts, wheels, containers, bins & pallets). Used for handling of electronic components (carrier boxes, conductive foams, carrier trays & carrier tapes), films (antistatic and conductive films, packaging films & garbage bags), power cables and accessories (insulator & conductor shield, strippable cables & jacketing), automotive industry (fuel injection systems, anti-corrosion systems & fuel tank hoses) and computer, audio & video applications (anti-static articles for computer & accessories and CD players).
