Grilamid TR® 90 TL is an impact modified, polyamide 12 (PA 12) grade based on aliphatic and cycloaliphatic monomers. Possesses very high flexural fatigue strength, low density, high transparency and gloss, good toughness even at low temperatures and good dimensional stability. Provides high stiffness, good impact strength, good resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis and stress cracking. Offers low moisture absorption, low water absorption compared to standard polyamides, high heat distortion temperature and easy processability. Shows high flow and good de-moulding properties. Is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Used in automotive applications like fuel- and compressed air systems, exterior, electrical appliances and equipment, connectors, hydraulics & pneumatics, lighting, mobile phones and other portable devices, medical devices, engineering tools and spectacle frames. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
