SYNTRAN® AC 9131 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is a self-crosslinking acrylic polymer. It is based on a technology which substantially increases the chemical-, household stain-, alkali submersion- and water submersion resistance. It allows polymer to fully cure at room temperature while maintaining standard long-term shelf stability.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It possesses a very low particle size with good penetration into porous substrates like concrete and wood.</li>
<li>It is easy to formulate for low-VOC formulations.</li>
<li>It offers excellent flexibility & adhesion to multiple substrates, and is an excellent let down binder for pigmented coatings.</li>
<li>SYNTRAN® AC 9131 is suitable for concrete sealers and furniture coatings.</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 6 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® AC 7016 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an alkali-soluble acrylic copolymer. It is suitable for primers with excellent wood warming properties e.g. in stains for furniture and other industrial applications. It is also possible to apply with a roller coater.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used as an adhesion primer on wood, metal, metallized foils, aqueous stains and under UV varnishes. </li>
<li>It can also be used as an insulating primer for isolation of water-soluble materials.</li>
<li>It offers excellent film clarity and very good oil resistance.</li>
<li>SYNTRAN® AC 7016 has a shelf life of 6 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® AC 2901 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an inherently matte self-crosslinking acrylic polymer. It produces film with low gloss, high flexibility, excellent clarity, excellent stability and excellent adhesion to various substrate types. It does not require additional use of waxes or powdered matting agents and imparts a slightly soft touch to the surface.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is compatible with organic & inorganic pigment pastes, water-based polymers and additives.</li>
<li>It is also used to produce matte formulations without affecting the color of the ink or the substrate, providing a very natural "non- coated" appearance of the substrate.</li>
<li>It has zero VOC requirements to formulate coatings.</li>
<li>It is suitable for use in wood coatings.</li>
<li>SYNTRAN® AC 2901 has a shelf life of 6 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® AC 9120 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is a self-crosslinking acrylic polymer. It is based on a technology which substantially increases the chemical-, stain- and water submersion resistance of the cured polymer film. It produces very hard and high-gloss film with good printability.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is easy to formulate for low-VOC formulations.</li>
<li>It allows polymer film to fully cure at room temperature while maintaining standard long-term shelf stability.</li>
<li>It also offers excellent household stain-, hot tire- and betadine resistance.</li>
<li>SYNTRAN® AC 9120 is suitable for concrete sealers and pool decks (topcoat).</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 6 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® AC 5917 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is a surfactant-free, multiphase, self-crosslinking acrylic polymer. It possesses a very fine particle size and is clear in the can and in wet paint. The polymer film exhibits excellent transparency even at high film thicknesses (400-500 µm wet film). It is used in joinery coatings, glossy to low-gloss industrial- & decorative coatings for wood, PVC, aluminum and various dimensionally stable substrates.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers anti-blocking, low-foaming, excellent water resistance and good adhesion & wetting of substrates.</li>
<li>It is easy to formulate and provides optimized ratio between flexibility & hardness.</li>
<li>It displays very good compatibility with PUD binders and other hard acrylics with high MFFT to reduce VOC content in exterior applications.</li>
<li>SYNTRAN® AC 5917 is suitable for outdoor and indoor coatings with extremely low water absorption.</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 6 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® AC 5115 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an anionic acrylic polymer emulsion based on multiphase technology. It offers excellent adhesion to various substrates. It forms a film with very high gloss, flexibility, blocking- & rub resistance and printability with various types of inks. It provides good balance between hardness and chemical resistance.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It possesses very low to zero emulsifier content and zero VOC requirements to formulate coatings.</li>
<li>It is recommended for stain and tannin blocking coatings.</li>
<li>It shows high compatibility with waxes and other additives.</li>
<li>SYNTRAN® AC 5115 is Swiss Ordinance compliant and is FDA-approved for indirect food contact.</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 12 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® PU 6115 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an anionic, water-based, one-component, aliphatic polyester/polyether-type polyurethane dispersion with NMP. It is a self-emulsified grade which films easily at relatively low temperatures. It offers greatly improved slip, soft touch and excellent polishing properties.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It provides good adhesion, high gloss, excellent corrosion resistance and excellent weatherability.</li>
<li>It is also used as a binder for pigments and inorganic fillers.</li>
<li>SYNTRAN® PU 6115 is suitable for metal coatings, base and topcoat for cold-rolled steel coil (EG, GL type).</li>
<li>It shows very good compatibility with polymer formulations.</li>
<li>It has a shelf life of 12 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® PUC 6224 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is a cationic, aqueous, one-component, aliphatic polyester-type polyurethane dispersion (PUD) with DMF. It offers high gloss, good adhesion as well as excellent corrosion-, scratch-, abrasion and weather resistance.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is a self-emulsifying that films easily at relatively low temperatures and shows no migration because it is surfactant-free.</li>
<li>It is used in metal coatings including base & topcoat for cold-rolled steel strip (GI type) and mineral substrates.</li>
<li>It is also used as a binder for pigments and inorganic fillers.</li>
<li>The shelf life of SYNTRAN® PUC 6224 is 12 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® DR 7055 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an anionic, alkali-soluble acrylic polymer. It is based on low-foam and polymeric surfactant technology. It provides improved wetting and dispersibility of pigments or additives into water-based inks, pigment concentrates & coatings.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is suitable for wood-, concrete & architectural coatings, primers, inks and overprint varnishes.</li>
<li>It shows high compatibility and stability in multiple formulation types.</li>
<li>The recommended dosage level is 10-30%.</li>
<li>The shelf life of SYNTRAN® DR 7055 is 12 months.</li></ul> SYNTRAN® AC 6130 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an anionic, modified water-based acrylic copolymer that combines two different ionic structures in the same interpenetrating polymer network (IPN). It provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of difficult substrates. It shows improved compatibility and low solvent demand.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It offers excellent solvent- & abrasion resistance, short drying times and high crosslinking density.</li>
<li>Coatings formulated with SYNTRAN® AC 6130 consistently exhibit a lasting toughness and flexibility.</li>
