SYNTRAN® AC 2901 by Zschimmer & Schwarz is an inherently matte self-crosslinking acrylic polymer. It produces film with low gloss, high flexibility, excellent clarity, excellent stability and excellent adhesion to various substrate types. It does not require additional use of waxes or powdered matting agents and imparts a slightly soft touch to the surface.
- It is compatible with organic & inorganic pigment pastes, water-based polymers and additives.
- It is also used to produce matte formulations without affecting the color of the ink or the substrate, providing a very natural "non- coated" appearance of the substrate.
- It has zero VOC requirements to formulate coatings.
- It is suitable for use in wood coatings.
- SYNTRAN® AC 2901 has a shelf life of 6 months.
