Tykote® 6161 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a styrene free, water-based all-acrylic emulsion for functional barrier coatings. It offers good MVTR properties, high oil- & grease resistance both at room and elevated temperatures. It provides excellent water resistance properties leading to low Cobb results. It is heat sealable under certain conditions. It is used in food packaging applications. It can be applied by many coating methods such as rod, blade and flexo and gravure presses. Tykote® 6161 complies with FDA 21 CFR 176.170. Tykote® 1015 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a low surfactant containing carboxylated styrene butadiene emulsion. It offers high strength, pigment compatibility, excellent mechanical stability and can be applied to a variety of substrates using many different application methods. It can be used to compound functional coatings exhibiting superior water and water vapor resistance. <br>

It imparts excellent water & water vapor resistance and has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Tykote® 1019 is used as a base polymer in the formulation of barrier coatings for paper and paperboard packaging. Tykote® 6160 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a flexible acrylic emulsion. It provides good balance of Cobb resistance, OGR and MVTR properties. Tykote® 6160 is recommended for barrier coatings such as rod, blade and flexo and gravure presses. Tykote® 1005 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer emulsion containing low surfactant. It provides high strength, pigment compatibility, superior water and water vapor resistance. It gives rise to blocking resistant coatings. It exhibits excellent mechanical stability. It is designed as a base resin for functional barrier coatings such as moisture vapor. Tykote® 1005 is recommended for paperboard coating. Tykote® 6152 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a hard film-forming styrene-acrylic emulsion. It provides excellent water and blocking resistance in barrier coating compounds including rod, blade and flexo and gravure presses. Tykote® 6152 is designed for oil and grease resistant barrier coatings. Tykote® 1004 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer emulsion, containing low surfactant. It provides high strength, excellent mechanical stability and pigment compatibility. It exhibits superior water, water vapor, oil and grease repellency. It is designed as a base resin for functional barrier coatings such as moisture vapor and grease resistance. Tykote® 1004 is recommended for paperboard coating.
