Tykote® 1004 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer emulsion, containing low surfactant. It provides high strength, excellent mechanical stability and pigment compatibility. It exhibits superior water, water vapor, oil and grease repellency. It is designed as a base resin for functional barrier coatings such as moisture vapor and grease resistance. Tykote® 1004 is recommended for paperboard coating.
