Tykote® 1019 by Mallard Creek Polymers is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion. It has a firm hand with excellent film strength properties. It imparts excellent water & water vapor resistance and has good adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces. Tykote® 1019 is used as a base polymer in the formulation of barrier coatings for paper and paperboard packaging.
