Matt hardener SA2068 by Lu'An Jietonda New Material is a matting hardener with TGIC as a co-reactant, which can provide a low gloss of ca.10% (60°), good impact and exceptional flow properties for exterior durable PES/TGIC powder coatings. It may also be used in both epoxy and epoxy/polyester hybrid powder coating with low-gloss finish. The use level of Matt hardener SA2068 is 1-5% by the total weight of the formulation, depending on the gloss required. Matt hardener SA550 by Lu'An Jietonda New Material is a glycidyl-containing solid acrylic resin. It is designed for exterior durable carboxyl functional polyester powder coatings to provide a low gloss of <5%(60°) and excellent weather resistance. Some cure catalysts such as 2-phenyl-imidazoline and quaternary ammonium salts may improve coatings' mechanical and surface performance in the SA550 system. The recommended dosage of Matt hardener SA550 is 75/25 [resin to SA550] for pure polyester resin with AV ca.34mg KOH/g. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Matt hardener SA2065B by Lu'An Jietonda New Material is a wax-free, non-reactive and synthetic resin based matting agent designed for hybrid powder coatings to provide 5-70% (60°) of gloss. It is suitable for various curing conditions, has excellent flow and outstanding gloss stability after re-extruded operation. Has more fineness surface and offers good anti-yellowing properties. Possesses a wide range of applicability to polyester resins. The use level of Matt hardener SA2065B is 1-4.5% by weight based on the total formula, depending on the gloss required. Matt hardener SA2065F by Lu'An Jietonda New Material is a wax-free, non-reactive and synthetic resin based matting agent designed for hybrid powder coatings to provide 8-70% (60°) of gloss. It is suitable to standard curing condition, excellent flow/fineness surface, and outstanding gloss stability after re-extruded operation. Offers good anti-yellowing properties. Possesses a wide range of applicability to polyester resins. The use level of Matt hardener SA2065F is 1-4.5% by weight based on the total formula, depending on the gloss required. Matt hardener SA2167 by Lu'An Jietonda New Material is a synthetic resin based matting agent. With proper resin, it can provide 10% (60°) or less of gloss (suggested to choose slow curing polyester, should not be used alone with fast curing polyester). Offers excellent flow and weather resistance. Possesses good stability for baking, recommended to use on anti-yellowing conditions. Has outstanding mechanical properties, much better scratch/friction resistance than PE/GMA matting system and outstanding gloss stability as well as reproducibility, satisfying wide ranges of extrusion processing. Used for applying in exterior PES/TGIC powder coatings. The use level of Matt hardener SA2167 is 2-6% by weight of total formula, depends on the gloss required. Modified polyethylene wax. Acts as a matting agent. Offers minimum 30-70% ( 60°) of gloss for PES/TGIC powder coating without significantly damaging to the weather-resistance, flow and mechanical properties. It can also be used in other powder coatings endowing with appropriate semi-gloss and in other coating systems such as pure epoxy and epoxy-polyester hybrid to provide semi-gloss, smooth appearance as well as good non-yellowing properties. It is non-recommended to use under the loading over 3% based on total weight of formulation because of poor free-flowing, wet blocking of powder or spray gun plugging problem etc. Low wax and resin based matting agent. Provides low gloss of ca. 20% (60°) and excellent flow as well as anti-yellowing properties. Offers excellent overbaking performance. Used for exterior PES/TGIC powder coatings. The use level is 1-6% by weight of total formula, depends on the gloss required.
