Matt hardener SA550 by Lu'An Jietonda New Material is a glycidyl-containing solid acrylic resin. It is designed for exterior durable carboxyl functional polyester powder coatings to provide a low gloss of <5%(60°) and excellent weather resistance. Some cure catalysts such as 2-phenyl-imidazoline and quaternary ammonium salts may improve coatings' mechanical and surface performance in the SA550 system. The recommended dosage of Matt hardener SA550 is 75/25 [resin to SA550] for pure polyester resin with AV ca.34mg KOH/g. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
