DELTA SC® 2570

by Delta Specialties

Neutralized fluorocarbon-modified polyacrylate. Is silicone-free surface control additive for aqueous systems. Gives excellent leveling and anti-cratering properties in most aqueous resin systems. Does not give inter-coat adhesion problems in multi-layer applications. Possesses good substrate wetting. Is recommended for use in all kinds of water-based coatings with a pH value superior to 7.5.

DELTA SC® 2580

by Delta Specialties

Modified polysiloxane. Is a surface control additive. Provides powerful reduction in surface tension which leads to excellent substrate wetting, leveling and anti-cratering properties. Does not affect inter-coat adhesion problems in multi-layer applications. Has little or no foam stabilization. Is recommended for use in all kinds of water-based coatings with a pH range of 4 - 10. Reduces the surface tension in aqueous printing inks. Improves substrate wetting and leveling but does not increase the surface slip. Is especially suitable for solvent-free aqueous printing inks. Used in coatings.

DELTA SC® 2034

by Delta Specialties

DELTA SC® 2034 by Delta Specialities is a fluorocarbon containing organically modified siloxane. Is a silicone surface additive designed for substrate wetting, anti-cratering and leveling of the coatings. Has very low surface tension and is extremely compatible with most paint systems due to fluorocarbon modification. Improves surface smoothness and slip. Promotes substrate wetting which results in foam stabilization. Used in industrial coatings.

DELTA SC® 2236

by Delta Specialties

Solvent-free modified polysiloxane. Is a silicone surface additive with defoaming properties to improve the surface properties of coatings with particular emphasis upon leveling. Is a heat resistant due to the alkyl-modification. Soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones. Improves levelling, overspray acceptance and surface smoothness. Increases slip and mar-resistance. Prevents orange-peel effect, cratering and formation of Benard cells. Acts as a defoamer and de-aeration aid. Is especially recommended for non-aqueous coatings. Is highly recommended in the applications such as stoving enamels based on alkyd-, acrylic- or polyester resins, acid cured- or polyurethane- wood finishes, self-levelling epoxy flooring compounds, UV-curable paper lacquers and air-dried alkyd systems.

DELTA SC® 2231

by Delta Specialties

Organically modified polysiloxane. Is a silicone-based surface additive. Improves surface properties in all solvent-based medium to high-polar systems. Improves mar resistance, substrate wetting, leveling and anti-blocking characteristics. Increases scuff resistance, slip and surface smoothness. Prevents floating of pigments and reduce sensitivity to air-draughts. Does not influence curtain stability when applied as curtain coating. Is particularly advantageous in polyurethane systems based on hydroxyl acrylics. Can interfere with inter-coat adhesion when recoated without sanding. Has very broad compatibility with a broad range of printing ink systems. Is relatively insensitive to pin-holing even at high concentrations of the additive. Is especially effective in nitrocellulose-based systems for flexographic and gravure printing. Is also effective in UV flexographic printing. Used in wood finishes and metal coatings.

DELTA SC® 2230

by Delta Specialties

Organically modified siloxane. Is a silicone-based surface additive. Improves leveling, substrate wetting and block resistance. Increases scratch, scuff resistance and abrasion resistance. Possesses anti- blocking characteristics and prevents floating. Has very broad compatibility with a broad range of printing ink systems. Is compatible with a broad range of formulation polarities. Used in water- and solvent-based industrial coatings, particularly in spray applications. May be used in water-based, solventbased and UV-curable printing inks and over-print varnishes. Is especially effective in nitrocellulose-based systems for flexographic and gravure printing. Is also effective in UV flexographic printing.

DELTA SC® 2033

by Delta Specialties

Solution of a polyether-modified siloxane. Is a cost-effective silicone surface additive. Provides good substrate wetting of critical substrates and excellent anti-cratering by reduction of surface tension of the coating systems. Improves surface slip, scratch resistance, flatting agent orientation, and antiblocking properties. Also improves dust and spray dust acceptance and allows higher film thickness on vertical surfaces. Is highly compatible with various resin systems. Prevents formation of Bénard cells and cratering in various resin systems. Suitable for use in clear coatings such as two-pack PU and acid curing systems. Used in wood and furniture coatings. Also used in nitrocellulose-based flexographic inks.

DELTA SC® 2035

by Delta Specialties

Solution of organically modified siloxane. Is a silicone surface additive designed especially for unsaturated polyester and epoxy resins. Reduces surface tension and therefore provides better substrate wetting. Improves anti-blocking properties, levelling and gloss. Increases surface slip and mar-resistance. Is hydrolysis resistant and offers better compatibility in comparison to normal dimethylpolysiloxanes particularly in polar systems. Helps to prevent curtain-rupture in curtain coating applications. Can be used in water- and solvent-based coatings.
