Organically modified siloxane. Is a silicone-based surface additive. Improves leveling, substrate wetting and block resistance. Increases scratch, scuff resistance and abrasion resistance. Possesses anti- blocking characteristics and prevents floating. Has very broad compatibility with a broad range of printing ink systems. Is compatible with a broad range of formulation polarities. Used in water- and solvent-based industrial coatings, particularly in spray applications. May be used in water-based, solventbased and UV-curable printing inks and over-print varnishes. Is especially effective in nitrocellulose-based systems for flexographic and gravure printing. Is also effective in UV flexographic printing.
