DELTA SC® 2033

Solution of a polyether-modified siloxane. Is a cost-effective silicone surface additive. Provides good substrate wetting of critical substrates and excellent anti-cratering by reduction of surface tension of the coating systems. Improves surface slip, scratch resistance, flatting agent orientation, and antiblocking properties. Also improves dust and spray dust acceptance and allows higher film thickness on vertical surfaces. Is highly compatible with various resin systems. Prevents formation of Bénard cells and cratering in various resin systems. Suitable for use in clear coatings such as two-pack PU and acid curing systems. Used in wood and furniture coatings. Also used in nitrocellulose-based flexographic inks.
