DELTA DC® 3047

by Delta Specialties

DELTA DC® 3047 by Delta Specialties is a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive based on modified polyurethane. It prevents reflocculation of pigments through steric hindrance and therefore stabilizes the color strength and hue of pigments in paints and pigment concentrates. It enhances processing of pigment bases during grinding and enables higher pigment loads to be achieved. It improves color strength and reduces dispersion time. It possesses lower viscosity and higher gloss. It is used solvent-based coatings, automotive coatings, transportation coatings and pigment concentrates. It also used in solvent-based ink, printing inks, screen & gravure printing and UV-curable formulations. Recommended dosage is 10% of oil absorption for inorganic pigment, 30-50% of BET value for organic pigment and 15-25% of DBP value for carbon blacks. DELTA DC® 3047 has a shelf life of 5 years.

DELTA DC® 4066

by Delta Specialties

DELTA DC® 4066 byDelta Specialties is a high molecular weight unsaturated carboxylic acid. Enhances the dispersion of inorganic pigments. Designed to prevent flooding, floating and hard sedimentation. Can improve the pigment wetting and stabilize the pigment dispersion. Produces a controlled flocculation of pigments and extenders. Suitable for medium- to high-polar systems such as nitrocellulose systems, alkyd/amino resin combinations and acrylic polyisocyanate systems. Particularly effective in preventing flooding of titanium dioxide in combination with other color pigments. Used in amine-neutralized aqueous coatings.

DELTA DC® 3046

by Delta Specialties

DELTA DC® 3046 by Delta Specialties is a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent based on modified polyurethane. It is the product with the lowest molecular weight and is the most compatible with polar systems. It be incorporated in the mill-base before adding the pigments. DELTA DC® 3046 is used in general industrial coatings, automotive coatings and solvent-based coatings. Recommended dosage for inorganic pigments is 10% of oil absorption value, organic pigment is 30-50% of BET value and for carbon blacks is 15-25% of DBP value. It has a shelf life of 5 years.

DELTA DC® 4207

by Delta Specialties

DELTA DC® 4207 is a hydroxyfunctional carboxylic acid ester with pigment affinic group based wetting and dispersing agent. It reduces dispersion time and flooding of pigment. It improves dispersion, color strength, opacity with TiO2 and gloss. It also improves the co-stabilization of added organic tinting or toning bases (e.g. color acceptance) resulting in reduced risk of pigment separation when used in whites. It exhibits broad solvent compatibility. It is suitable to formulate pigment concentrates based on long-oil alkyds. Also suitable for use in both alcohol- and acetate-reduced nitrocellulose printing inks and pigmented bases. DELTA DC® 4207 is used in architectural paints and general industrial coatings. It has a shelf life of 5 years.

DELTA DC® 3011

by Delta Specialties

DELTA DC® 3011 by Delta Specialties is a modified polyurethane-based multi-purpose high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent. It prevents reflocculation of pigments through steric hindrance and therefore stabilizes the color strength and hue of pigments in paints and pigment concentrates. It improves pigment wetting, gloss and leveling and reduces the time required for the grinding process. It does not influence paint binder durability due to its high molecular weight and resin-like structure. DELTA DC® 3011 is used in industrial coatings, resin containing pigment concentrates, wood and furniture coatings and coatings based on acrylic/melamine and polyester/melamine. Recommended dosage is 10% of oil absorption value for inorganic pigment, 30-50% of BET value for organic pigments and 15-25% of DBP value for carbon blacks. It has a shelf life of 5 years.
