CERATIX® 8461 by BYK is a wax dispersion based on an ethylene-vinylacetate-copolymer (EVA) copolymer. It acts as a rheology modifier for solvent-borne effect coatings. <br>

It improves the leveling of the subsequent clear coating, orientation of effect pigments (aluminum, mica etc.) and reduces large-scale clouding. It minimizes short-wave defects and enhances the flip-flop effect. CERATIX® 8566 is recommended for all solvent-borne base coats and one-coat top coats for automotive and industrial coatings.
