Supplied byBYK- Last Updated on Feb 18, 2021

CERATIX® 8561 by Byk (Altana Group) is an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer wax dispersion (EVA). Acts as a levelling agent. It minimizes short-wave defects and enhances the flip-flop effect. It improves the leveling of the subsequent clear coating, orientation of effect pigments (aluminum, mica etc.) and reduces large-scale clouding. Exhibits special rheological properties which reduces the settling of the effect pigments in the container and in the circulation pipe. CERATIX® 8561 is recommended for all solvent-borne base coats and one-coat top coats for automotive, industrial and leather coatings. Complies with REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The dosage level for this product is 40-70%.
