Piccotac™ 7050 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a low colored, C5/C9 tackifier. It offers low softening point which promotes high tack and enhanced low-temperature properties. Due to its unique properties, it can be used at a higher level than typical hydrocarbon tackifiers. It provides a high level of aromatic modification that permits the use of block copolymers with higher styrene content, increased processability and wet out. It is stabilized by the addition of antioxidants. It is low molecular weight, light-colored, low odor hydrocarbon resin with excellent tack properties. It offers a good balance of peel and shear properties.
