Piccotac™ 1100 Hydrocarbon Resin

Piccotac™ 1100 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a thermoplastic, moderate molecular weight, tackifier, derived largely from mixed monomers of petroleum origin. It offers color stability, the balance of adhesive and cohesive properties, heat resistance and shear strength. It provides wide compatibility and solubility. It is stabilized by the addition of antioxidants. It is compatible with natural-, synthetic rubbers, low-vinyl acetate EVA, EnBA copolymers, APAO, SIS, SIBS, SEBS, SEPS, polyethylene polymers, polypropylene polymers, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, PIB, EPDM type rubbers, OBC, mPE, mPP, and TPE resins. Piccotac™ 1100 Hydrocarbon Resin is recommended for packaging-, specialty tapes, wires and cables. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
