Piccotac™ 1098 Hydrocarbon Resin

Piccotac™ 1098 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a low molecular weight, tackifier. It is derived largely from mixed monomers of petroleum origin, characterized by its light color. It offers excellent balance of tack, adhesive and cohesive properties. It provides heat resistance, wide compatibility and solubility. It is stabilized by the addition of antioxidants. It is compatible with natural, synthetic rubbers, low-vinyl acetate EVA, EnBA co-polymers, APAO, SIS, SIBS, SEBS, SEPS, polyethylene-, polypropylene polymers, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, PIB, OBC, mPE, mPP, and TPE. Piccotac™ 1098 Hydrocarbon Resin is designed for packaging-, specialty tape, wires and cables. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
