Piccotac™ 1020 Hydrocarbon Resin

Piccotac™ 1020 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a tackifier. It is an aliphatic, low molecular weight, liquid resin, derived mainly from olefin monomers of petroleum origin. It offers light color, low odor, heat-, light stability and reduced viscosity. It provides good adhesion, peel, resistance to oxidation and moisture. It is stabilized by an anti-oxidant. It is compatible with natural-, butyl-, synthetic rubbers, EVA copolymers, EnBA, mPE, mPP, APAO, SIS and SBS block copolymers, polyethylene-, polypropylene polymers, paraffin- and microcrystalline waxes, PIB, OBC, and metallocene-catalyzed polyolefins. It finds application in packaging-, specialty tapes, wires and cables. Piccotac™ 1020 Hydrocarbon Resin has a shelf life of 2 years.
