Piccotac™ 1105-E Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a low molecular weight, tackifier. It is a pale-colored, neutral resin derived mainly from dienes and other reactive olefin monomers. It offers tack and tack retention, binding properties, resistance to moisture and UV stability. It is stabilized by the addition of antioxidants. It is compatible with natural-, synthetic rubbers, low-vinyl acetate EVA, EnBA co-polymers, APAO, SIS, SIBS, SEBS, SEPS block co-polymers, polyethylene-, polypropylene polymers, paraffin, micro-crystalline waxes, PIB, OBC, mPE, mPP, and TPE. Piccotac™ 1105-E Hydrocarbon Resin is designed for polymer modification and rubber compounding applications. It is also suitable for packaging-, non-food contact-, specialty tapes, wires and cables. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
