Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid by Synthomer is a monoacid derived from a tall oil fatty acid source. It is an exceptionally high purity, water white oily liquid grade. It offers excellent color stability, low odor level, titer, saturated acids, uniform fatty acid composition and unsaponifiable content. It provides resistance to oxidation due to low percentage of polyunsaturated acids. It is an unique commercial fatty acid as it contains, typically, 90% oleic acid, all of which is in the naturally occurring cis-isomer form. It is used in polymer modification. Pamolyn™ 347 Fatty Acid by Synthomer is a monoacid. It is produced synthetically by an Eastman process that isomerizes 9, 12 non-conjugated linoleic acid to the 9, 11- and 10, 12-conjugated forms. It offers low odor, pale color, color stability and low unsaponifiable. It provides high reactivity and fast-drying derivatives. It controls the ratio of cis-trans to trans-trans isomers. It contains 38 to 44% conjugated diene fatty acids which makes it more reactive when compared with natural linoleic acids of similar linoleic content. It is applicable wherever dehydrated castor oil and/or fatty acids are used. Pamolyn™ 347 Fatty Acid is used in polymer modifications. It has a shelf life of 12 months.

Pamolyn™ 300 Fatty Acid by Synthomer is a monoacid. It is a conjugated linoleic acid and linoleic acid-rich blend derived from a tall oil fatty acid source. It exhibits outstanding low odor, pale color and color stability. It contains 8 to 42% conjugated diene fatty acids. In comparison with natural linoleic acids of similar linoleic acid content, it is considerably more reactive. It acts as a modifiers of styrenated, vinylated, and methacrylated alkyds and also functions as chemical intermediates for reactions involving conjugated unsaturation. Pamolyn™ 327B Fatty Acid by Synthomer is a monoacid. It is designed to be a direct replacement for G-H viscosity dehydrated castor oil in short to medium oil alkyds and copolymer alkyd resins. Alkyd resin vehicles based on it retain the pale initial color of the fatty acid and enamels made from them exhibit excellent color retention on baking and overbaking. It is produced synthetically by an Eastman process that isomerizes 9, 12-linoleic acid to the 9, 11-conjugated form and controls the production of the latter to a uniform ratio of cis-trans to trans-trans isomers. It contains 69% conjugated unsaturation and the remaining portion is primarily oleic and non-conjugated linoleic acid. It offers excellent heat color stability and low titer. Pamolyn™ 380 Conjugated Linoleic Acid is designed for polymer modification. It is also suitable for the production of polyfunctional chemical intermediates by Diels-alder chemistry.
