Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid by Synthomer is a monoacid derived from a tall oil fatty acid source. It is an exceptionally high purity, water white oily liquid grade. It offers excellent color stability, low odor level, titer, saturated acids, uniform fatty acid composition and unsaponifiable content. It provides resistance to oxidation due to low percentage of polyunsaturated acids. It is an unique commercial fatty acid as it contains, typically, 90% oleic acid, all of which is in the naturally occurring cis-isomer form. It is used in polymer modification. Pamolyn™ 100 Oleic Acid has a shelf life of 12 months.
