Pamolyn™ 347 Fatty Acid

Pamolyn™ 347 Fatty Acid by Synthomer is a monoacid. It is produced synthetically by an Eastman process that isomerizes 9, 12 non-conjugated linoleic acid to the 9, 11- and 10, 12-conjugated forms. It offers low odor, pale color, color stability and low unsaponifiable. It provides high reactivity and fast-drying derivatives. It controls the ratio of cis-trans to trans-trans isomers. It contains 38 to 44% conjugated diene fatty acids which makes it more reactive when compared with natural linoleic acids of similar linoleic content. It is applicable wherever dehydrated castor oil and/or fatty acids are used. Pamolyn™ 347 Fatty Acid is used in polymer modifications. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
