Rhenosin® VU 90 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a plasticizer specially designed to improve the low temperature flexibility of NBR and CR vulcanizates. It increases the building tack of the compound, rebound resilience of the vulcanizates and delays the scorch very slightly. It has a little influence on the tendency of rubber goods to swell. It does not affect the rate of vulcanization. It shows compatibility with NR, NBR, CR, SBR, SBR/BR blends as well as CM and CSM. It offers good thermal stability and compliant with food contact approval. It finds application in technical rubber goods based on synthetic or natural rubber, e.g. hoses, seals, buffers, elastic automotive components roller covers and conveyor belting. Recommended dosage rate is 5 to 40 parts by weight. Rhenosin® VU 90 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenosin® T by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an adhesion promoter for rubber-to-fabric applications (RFL system). It is designed for resorcinol formaldehyde latex dips. It is suitable for rubber textile applications, e.g. coated fabrics, tires, belts and reinforced hoses. Recommended dosage level for rayon is 37-49 phr and polyamide, polyester is 49-61 phr per 100 phr rubber. It has a shelf life of 1 year. Rhenosin® W 95 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a plasticizer to improve the low-temperature flexibility of elastomer vulcanizates. It is an easily dispersible additive. Its flexibilizing effect at low temperatures and its low vapor pressure a high temperature makes it the plasticizer of choice in rubber articles over a wide range of temperatures. Rhenosin® W 95 is designed for refrigerator seals, hoses, ribbons, raw edge V-belts and gas meter membranes. Recommended dosage level for NBR, PUR, ECO is 30 phr, for ACM is 25 phr, for EPM, EPDM, polysulfide rubber is 15 phr, for CR, NR, SBR is 10 phr, and for IIR is 5 phr. It has a shelf life of 3 years. Rhenosin® BA by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a synthetic plasticizer for natural- and synthetic rubber which greatly reduces mix viscosity. It is suitable for frictioning compounds or other very elastic compounds, especially those based on NBR. It gives particularly good building tack in NBR and vulcanizates demonstrate excellent low temperature flexibility. It is also used in extruded and injected technical articles with maximum resilience. Recommended dosage level is up to 30 phr in NR, SBR, NBR, CR and IIR. Rhenosin® BA has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenosin® W 65 (GE 1665) by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a plasticizer based on renewable resources for standard and specialty polymers. It improves the low temperature flexibility of rubber articles. It exhibits low vapor pressure at high ambient temperatures, minimal effects on the physical properties of rubber compounds and is easy to disperse. It reduces the viscosity of the mix and enhances the glass transition temperature (Tg). It is suitable in technical rubber goods based on synthetic or natural rubber, e.g. hoses, seals, anti-vibration components, roll covers and conveyor belts. Recommended dosage level for AEM, ACM, ECO, HNBR, NBR, PVC, CR, CPE, AU, EU is 5-30 phr and EPDM, NR, SBR is 5-15 phr. Rhenosin® W 65 has a shelf life of 1 year. Rhenosin® A by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is phenol formaldehyde resin with hardening agent (hexamethylene tetramine). It is a reinforcing resin for solid rubber such as NR, SBR, BR, NBR (friction linings) and EPDM. It improves modulus and exhibits the deformation characteristics like shore hardness. It reduces scorch time, which prolongs cure time. It is applicable in brake linings, oil-resistant seals, heels, soling sheets, solid hose material, paper rollers, hard and very hard technical compounds. Recommended dosage level of Rhenosin® A is 5-25 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenosin® W 90 B by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a plasticizer to improve the low-temperature flexibility of elastomer vulcanizates. It disperses easily in a wide range of elastomers and not affected by vulcanization. It does not degrade the physical characteristics of the compound. Its rapid flexibilizing effect and ease of incorporation make it useful for re-softening compounds which have hardened slightly, with only minimal effect on the physical values. It shows compatibility with fluoro-elastomers, polyurethane, liquid, aliphatic polysulfides, and ECO. It is applicable in fuel pipes, wire sheathing, sponge rubber, extruded and molded technical rubber components. Recommended dosage level for CR, NBR is 50 phr, for NR, SBR is 40 phr, for EPDM, EPM is 20 phr and for IIR is 10 phr. Rhenosin® W 90 B has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenosin® RB by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a hardener and reinforcing resin for solid rubber. It enhances the hardness of vulcanizates, elongation at break, modulus and reduces tensile strength. It does not affect scorch and vulcanization characteristics. The addition of hardeners reduces the scorch time and changes the vulcanization pattern. It increases mix viscosity in NR, SBR, BR and EPDM but decreases in NBR. It is suitable for floor coverings, paper rollers, heels, soling sheets, oil-resistant seals, brake linings, solid hose material, hard and very hard vulcanizates such as apex compounds in radial tires. Recommended dosage level of Rhenosin® RB is 5-25 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenosin® FH 70 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a synthetic plasticizer for mixes based on natural- and synthetic rubber. It enhances the building tack of mixes based on synthetic rubber and processability. It has a good dispersing effect on carbon blacks and light colored reinforcing fillers. It is easy to weigh, dose and is the solidified form of the high viscosity Vulkanol® FH. It is easily incorporate and disperses homogenously in all rubber compounds. It is designed for technical rubber articles, e.g. conveyor belts, raw edge V-belts, roller covers and also in foodstuff quality. Recommended dosage level in NR, NBR, CR, IIR is up to 20 phr and in SBR 5-15 phr. Rhenosin® FH 70 has a shelf life of 2 years. Rhenosin® W 759 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a plasticizer to improve the low-temperature flexibility of elastomer vulcanizates. It exhibits flexibilizing effect at low temperatures and low vapor pressure at high ambient temperatures. It is easy to disperse and has minimal effects on the physical properties of rubber compounds. It has a beneficial effect on the heat aging of rubber products. It shows compatibility with CR, NBR, NR, SBR, ECO, EPDM and IIR. It is used for technical rubber components, e.g. automotive seals and gaskets, fuel pipes, wire and cable sheathing. Recommended dosage level is 5-30 phr, depending on the desired polymer value. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
