Rhenosin® BA by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a synthetic plasticizer for natural- and synthetic rubber which greatly reduces mix viscosity. It is suitable for frictioning compounds or other very elastic compounds, especially those based on NBR. It gives particularly good building tack in NBR and vulcanizates demonstrate excellent low temperature flexibility. It is also used in extruded and injected technical articles with maximum resilience. Recommended dosage level is up to 30 phr in NR, SBR, NBR, CR and IIR. Rhenosin® BA has a shelf life of 2 years.
