AB TA 50/L by Polytechs is a masterbatch containing 50% talc (calcium and magnesium silicate) in ethylene butylacrylate coplymer base resin. Acts as an antiblocking agent. AB TA 50/L can be used for food contact applications. Typical concentrations are between 0.3% and 2 %. AB PP 10S by Polytechs is a 10% synthetic silica-based antiblocking masterbatch in a PP carrier resin. In PP Films, AB PP 10S prevents blocking during wind-up and facilitates the slitting of film
rolls. It has an excellent dispersion and is used in both cast and blown film processes. AB PP 10S gives excellent optical properties for high transparency films. This masterbatch can be added to skin layers only. It is used to allow easy unwinding of bags and sachets. Typical addition rates are between 2-4 %. It is suitable for food applications according to FDA and EEC regulations. AB PP SER 10 by Polytechs is a masterbatch containing 10 % of an organic antiblock agent in PP homopolymer (MI 2) film grade. It is used in BOPP films to prevent blocking during wind-up, facilitates the unwinding and slitting of film rolls. Excellent optical properties are obtained when using AB PP SER 10. It also has slip properties, it is not always necessary to add a slip masterbatch. AB PP SER 10 is added to the skin layers of coextruded films. Typical percentage of AB PP SER 10 in the skin layer is 1 to 3%.
