PAT-ADD AF 75 by Patcham (FZC) is organic polymer compound in hydrocarbon solvent. It is a silicone-free polymeric de-aerator and defoamer for use in unsaturated polyester systems. It demonstrates fast de-airing and excellent compatibility with a wide variety of systems. It is suitable for avoiding air entrapment in ambient temperature curing systems as well as during pultrusion process of plastics. It maintains clear appearance and requires only low dosages. PAT-ADD AF 75 recommended dosage is between 0.2 and 0.5% calculated on the total weight of the system. It is a REACH compliant. PAT-ADD DA 3222 by Patcham (FZC) is polyether, amine pigment affinic groups. It is a solvent-free polymeric dispersing agent for use in production of color master batches for thermoplastics based on polyether polyol. It demonstrates particularly strong interaction onto slightly acidic and onto neutral pigment surfaces, such as main grades of carbon black and organic pigments. It contributes to optimal pigment deflocculation for achieving best color strength and jetness. It offers excellent nearly newtonian- flow characteristics pigment concentrates. It also contributes to optimal wetting, lowering mill base viscosity at high pigment loadings and achieving best dispersion stability. It is used in solvent-free and solvent-borne pigment concentrate for PUR foam application. The optimal amount of PAT-ADD DA 3222 to be used is pigment related and varies between 1 and 12%, calculated on total formula pigment concentrate. It is a REACH compliant. It has a shelf life of 24 months. PAT-ADD DA 2709 by PATCHAM FZC is polyester in isobutanol/ 1-methoxy-2-propanol. It is a green chemistry based wetting and dispersing additive for highly filler loaded UP resins systems. PAT-Add DA 2709 reduces the viscosity of polyester casting resin systems and improves the flow behavior and the leveling of the resin mixture, without affecting the curing or the color. It also reduces compound viscosity so that higher aluminum trihydroxide ATH loading in the resin is possible. The optimal amount of PAT-ADD DA 2709 to be used is system related, but generally is between 0.5 and 1.5% based on the filler. If filler loading is more than 75% dosage of PAT-ADD 2709 should be increased 1–2%. It is a REACH compliant.
