Patcat 3003 by Patcham (FZC) is dibutyltin diacetate. Acts as a catalyst for polyurethane and silicone systems as well as for esterification reactions. It is also used for silanol condensation and esterfication. Patcat 3003 is applicable for polyurethane foams, alkyd resins, silicone resins, polyester resins, fatty acid esters, acrylic and methycrylic esters. Patcat 4001 by Patcham (FZC) is a low toxic organobismuth compound which can be use as alternative to tin, mercury and lead based catalyst. Patcat 4001 is widely applicable for urethanes intermediates, polymers as well as to produce clear castings. Patcat 3001 by Patcham (FZC) is dibutyltin diluarate. Acts as a primary catalyst to accelerate the isocyanate-hydroxyl-reaction as well as the reaction of isocyanates with alcohols. Patcat 3001 can be combined with tertiary amines and calcium-2-ethyl-hexanoate. Used in the range of 0.1-0.5% referring to polyol as primary catalyst for most PUR formulations and as a secondary catalyst 0.03 – 0.3% recommended. Patcat 3014 by Patcham (FZC) is dibutyltin bis(laurylmercaptide). Acts as a catalyst to accelerate the isocynate-hydroxyl reaction. It is recommended in the manufacturing of polyurethanes and HR foams. Dibutyltin bis (2-ethylhexanoate) in 2-ethylhexanoic acid. Is applicable for the silanol condensation polymerization reaction and silicone elastomers. It is also applicable for one or two component systems that are compatible with aromatic solvents. Stannous octoate. Acts as a catalyst for the production of polyurethane foams. It accelerates mainly the gelling reaction. The simultaneous application of a tertiary amine activator interacts with Patcat 3012 to influence the blowing effect. Dibutyltin neodecanoate. Acts as a primary catalyst to accelerate the isocyanate-hydroxyl-reaction as well as the reaction of isocyanates with alcohols. It can also be used for esterification of fatty acids. Is widely applicable for polyurethanes, MS-polymers, RTV silicones and fatty acid esters.
