PAT-ADD DA 3222

PAT-ADD DA 3222 by Patcham (FZC) is polyether, amine pigment affinic groups. It is a solvent-free polymeric dispersing agent for use in production of color master batches for thermoplastics based on polyether polyol. It demonstrates particularly strong interaction onto slightly acidic and onto neutral pigment surfaces, such as main grades of carbon black and organic pigments. It contributes to optimal pigment deflocculation for achieving best color strength and jetness. It offers excellent nearly newtonian- flow characteristics pigment concentrates. It also contributes to optimal wetting, lowering mill base viscosity at high pigment loadings and achieving best dispersion stability. It is used in solvent-free and solvent-borne pigment concentrate for PUR foam application. The optimal amount of PAT-ADD DA 3222 to be used is pigment related and varies between 1 and 12%, calculated on total formula pigment concentrate. It is a REACH compliant. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
