Baysilone™ Antifoam 3099 by Momentive Performance Materials is a 30% emulsion of modified polydimethylsiloxane. Designed as antifoam and defoamer in aqueous or polar organic media. Exhibits very good foam destruction and control under high temperatures and very high dilution stability. Shows exceptional defoaming stability in strongly alkaline media. Possesses high temperature, chemical stability, and non-corrosive property, due to which it is used in chemical processes like distillations and reflux reactions. High active content makes this product cost-effective and allows the easy formulation of diluted versions. Baysilone™ Antifoam 3099 is used as a foam suppressant in aqueous solutions, particularly those containing surfactants.Baysilone™ Antifoam TP3861 by Momentive Performance Materials is a 100% active silicone antifoam compound primarily designed for foam control at low addition levels in aggressive foaming environments. Exhibits chemical inertness. Does not react with the medium to be defoamed and does not corrodes containers or apparatus. Offers good dispersibility and easy emulsification. Provides very good foam control with enhanced persistence and effectiveness at very low concentrations and over a wide pH range. Shows solubility in aliphatics, aromatics and hydrocarbons, and insolubility in water, alcohols and polar solvents. Baysilone™ Antifoam TP3861 is used for plastics applications, pulp industry and textile processing. Baysilone™ Antifoam TP 3757 by Momentive Performance Materials is a 30% silicone antifoam of modified polydimethylsiloxane useful for defoaming aqueous systems. Particularly suited for highly alkaline environments such as those found in pulp mills and for acidic environments (eg: textile industry). Exhibits high and low pH resistance, wide temperature range, and easy dispersion in foaming media. Baysilone™ Antifoam TP 3757 is used for applications like the textile industry, petrochemical, chemical and agricultural industries.
