Niax™ catalyst stannous octoate by Momentive is used in the production of polyurethane flexible slabstock foam. It can also be used in conjunction with a tertiary amine catalyst to achieve an optimum foaming process. Niax™ catalyst stannous octoate is most typically used in PU foam production for furniture, bedding, and carpet applications. Niax™ catalyst BDMA by Momentive is a liquid tertiary amine catalyst. Can improve foam cure and demolding time. It is an excellent candidate to consider for use in water-NCO reactions in rigid polyurethane foams. Niax™ catalyst BDMA is typically suitable to replace DMCHA in formulations using a high level of the water as a blowing or co-blowing agent that can reduce surface friability and improve the adhesion of foam to substrates. Niax™ Silicone L-618 by Momentive Performance Materials is a surfactant. Provides broad process latitude in all grades of conventional flexible foams, including those of very low density where high loading with auxiliary blowing agents act to destabilize foams during production. Niax™ Silicone L-618 offers optimum foam stability with superior cost/performance benefit. Niax™ Processing Additive DP-1022 by Momentive Performance Materials is a reactive polyfunctional additive. It is designed to create polyurethane (PU) foams with significantly better tensile strengths, elongation and tear resistance. Niax™ Processing Additive DP-1022 may be an excellent candidate for high-resiliency (HR) technologies, in formulations using inorganic fillers and for specialty formulations like viscoelastic foams. Alkyl-pendant organosilicone. Used with CO2 as an auxiliary blowing agent and a flame retardant. Possesses wide foam processing latitude and very broad grade range latitude. Provides finest cell structure of flame retardant surfactants. Exhibis good froth density reduction and very good froth stability in CO2 processes. Imparts very good processing on all types of foam equipment. Can be used in slabstock foam applications. Niax™ color stabilizer CS-22LF by Momentive is an additive specially developed for flame and heat lamination of polyether and polyester foams. It fulfils the most severe automotive specifications regarding fogging and emissions. It delays yellowing of foams exposed to indirect light and acts as a mild antioxidant for polyester foams. Niax™ Silicone L-5690 by Momentive Performance Materials is a silicone/polyether copolymer. Acts as a co-surfactant that stabilizes froth in the mechanically frothed foam process.<br>

Has slightly slower cure rate than LC-5615/LC-5630. Provides similar physical properties to LC-5615 and LC-5630. Possesses low viscosity and is non-hydrolyzable. Niax™ Catalyst LC-5635 by Momentive is used in mechanically frothed polyurethane foam applications and carpet backing. Medium potency, organosilicone. Acts as a flame retardant surfactant. It improves the processing and physical properties of foam containing natural oil polyol. It minimizes the amount of FR additive required to pass flammability tests and improve adhesion to substrates. It provides excellent froth formation and stability as required for CO<sub>2</sub> process. It has wide foam processing latitude. Used in production of polyurethane flexible foam slabstock. Niax™ catalyst KST-100NPF by Momentive is a liquid, low odor, water soluble tertiary amine composition specifically designed for the production of flexible polyester polyurethane foams. It does not contain nonylphenol ethoxylate. Exhibits lower residual odor compared to highly odoriferous conventional ester
foam catalysts, such as N-methylmorpholine, N-ethylmorpholine or dimethylbenzylamine. Although Niax catalyst KST-100NPF is more specific to the blowing reaction, it also promotes the gelling reaction. Therefore the concentration of typical crosslinking catalysts such as dimethylbenzylamine,
dimethylhexadecylamine or dimethylpiperzine should be decreased, as compared with N-methylmorpholine or N-ethylmorpholine. The compatibility of Niax catalyst KST-100NPF with typical polyester silicone stabilizers is extremely good.
Stable and clear pre-mixes, with a relatively low viscosity can be easily prepared. Niax™ catalyst KST-100NPF can be used as the main catalyst for the production of flexible polyester foam, used for lamination and die-cuttable applications.
