Baysilone™ Antifoam TP3861 by Momentive Performance Materials is a 100% active silicone antifoam compound primarily designed for foam control at low addition levels in aggressive foaming environments. Exhibits chemical inertness. Does not react with the medium to be defoamed and does not corrodes containers or apparatus. Offers good dispersibility and easy emulsification. Provides very good foam control with enhanced persistence and effectiveness at very low concentrations and over a wide pH range. Shows solubility in aliphatics, aromatics and hydrocarbons, and insolubility in water, alcohols and polar solvents. Baysilone™ Antifoam TP3861 is used for plastics applications, pulp industry and textile processing.
