Akroform® MBTS-75/EPR/P

Akroform® MBTS-75/EPR/P by Akrochem is a 75% polymeric dispersion of MBTS in the EPR binder. It is very active at a temperature above 280°F and acts as an organic accelerator. It is also used as a retarder in non-sulfur modified polychloroprene- and as a potent retarder in the peroxide-cure system. It requires zinc oxide, fatty acid and sulfur, to achieve optimal performance. This grade is activated by aldehyde amine, di-thiocarbamates, alkaline, guanidines and thiurams. It is easy to handle polymer-bound dispersion providing better uniformity of mix at low temperature, upgrade plant safety and quality. It is a masterbatch and is suitable for natural rubber as a mild peptizer. Akroform® MBTS-75/EPR/P increases scorch resistance when combines with retarder- PX, AK or SAFE.
