Akroform® HMT-80/EPR/P

Akroform® HMT-80/EPR/P by Akrochem is 80% polymeric dispersion of hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) in EPR. It is a masterbatch and used with resorcinol (with silica) to make rubber-to-fabric adhesion possible. It allows easy weigh-up and protection from skin irritation due to its pelletized form. It acts as an efficient accelerator for sulfenamides and thiazoles type cure system. It is easy to handle polymer-bound dispersion providing better uniformity of mix at low temperature, upgrade plant safety and quality. Recommended level in active HMT is 1.6 phr, active resorcinol is 2.5 phr and silica to bond rubber formulas (nylon, cotton, activated polyester) is 10-15 phr.
