ADD-VANCE® FR 825 by AddComp (Altana Group) is an EVA based brominated flame-retardant masterbatch. It contains antimony trioxide (Sb<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>) as a synergist and has no environmental impact. It operates in the gas phase to interrupt the propagation chain necessary for flame initiation and continuation. It is highly cost effective and offers good flow properties as well as low dosing rates. Recommended for PP and thick PE products. ADD-VANCE® FR 825 is suitable to be used in extruded/injection molded articles. Can also be used in foils, films, tapes, ropes, crates and electronic equipment. The typical dosing level is 5-10%. ADD-VANCE® NU 489 (formerly:ADD-VANCE ® 489) by AddComp (Altana Group) is a PP based high performance nucleation masterbatch. It outperforms traditional agents such as talc, benzoate salts and phosphate-ester salts. It is formulated to increase both crystallization rate and number of spherulites in a polymer. The faster crystallization allows greater productivity in molding as well as extrusion processes and increased number of spherulites helps to improve stiffness as well as heat deflection temperature. Exhibits improved product isotropy which results in more controlled shrinkage and less warpage. It also offers an improvement in flexural modulus but Gardner and Izod impact remain comparable. It eliminates surface defects as well as voids and provides pigment nucleation levelling. Used in extruded and injection molded articles made from PP resins. ADD-VANCE® NU 489 (formerly:ADD-VANCE ® 489) can also be used in blow molded and injection molded articles such as closures, packaging and automotive parts. Recommended dosage level is 2.5-5 wt%. ADD-VANCE® FR 583 (formerly: ADD-FR 583) by AddComp (Altana Group) is a LLDPE based flame-retardant and anti-UV (HALS) combi-masterbatch. Can also acts as radical scavenger, hrdroperoxide decomposer and quencher. It does not contain any heavy metal or antimony- trioxide (Sb2O3) and does not produce dioxins during combustion. It does not offer blocking of spinnerets or fouling of dies and spinning pumps when extrusion temperatures do not exceed 220 - 230°C. It provides longer service life of final product and allows extrusion of thin films as well as spinning of fibers with fine deniers. Used for extruded articles made from PE and PP with a high surface/volume ratio. ADD-VANCE® FR 583 (formerly: ADD-FR 583) can also be used for foils, films, tapes, ropes, and filaments / fibres for carpets, non-wovens, furniture. Recommended dosage level is 9%. ADD-VANCE® THC 732 (formerly: ADD-VANCE® 732) by AddComp (Altana Group) is a heat stabilizers, carbon black and coupling agent. It is a automotive grade stabilisation system designed for LFT applications to withstand heat testing up to 1000 hour @ 150°C. Has good fiber-matrix interface due to the use of an efficient PRIEX® coupling agent. It offers an excellent long term heat aging performance to achieve VW and D-C requirements. It provides excellent mechanical properties after heat aging @140°C (Daimler-Chrysler test method). The non-blooming additives in combination with new coupling agent technology results in very low smell, low VOC and low emissions in general. Exhibits easy processing, low overall additivation costs and good gluing properties. Recommended for producing long fiber reinforced polypropylene for D-LFT and G-LFT processes. ADD-VANCE® THC 732 (formerly: ADD-VANCE® 732) can also be used for automotive parts, like underbody panels and shields, instrument panel carriers, front-end modules, door modules, etc. The recommended concentration range is 3.5 wt% (dosing rate on PP) for 20% – 40% glass in LFT. ADD-VANCE® DS 485 (formerly: ADD-VANCE ® 485) by AddComp (Altana Group) is a LLDPE carrier resin based highly concentrated desiccant masterbatch. It offers elimination of moisture from recycled polymers which allows increased addition levels of recycle polymers. Exhibits reduction or prevention of lacing and windows/lenses in films, surface defects in molding, porosity as well as die build-up. Used for LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP, EVA and other ethylene copolymers. It is suitable to be used in moisture sensitive applications. Recommended dosage level in extrusion and molding applications is 0.5-2%. The dosage level in compounding applications is 1-3%. ADD-VANCE® TH 130 (formerly: ADD-VANCE ® 130) by AddComp (Altana Group) is a PP based stabilization masterbatch. It features synergistic formulation of processing stabilizers and heat stabilizers. Exhibits an excellent long term heat aging (LTHA) to achieve VW and D-C requirements. It offers good gluing properties, easy processing as well as safe and easy handling. Used for producing glass mat reinforced polypropylene (GMT) and long fiber reinforced PP materials (LFTs). Can also be used for automotive parts, like undercover shields, dashboard carriers, assembly carriers, front panels, front bumpers etc. Recommended dosing rate is between 2 – 4% depending on the substrate, processing conditions and application. ADD-VANCE® THC 723 by {supplierr} is a PP based combi-masterbatch with heat stabilizers, carbon black and coupling agent. The non-blooming additives in combination with new coupling agent technology results in very low smell, low VOC and low emissions in general. Has good fiber-matrix interface due to the use of an efficient PRIEX® coupling agent. It offers an excellent long term heat aging performance to achieve VW and D-C requirements. ADD-VANCE® UV 442 by AddComp (Altana Group) acts as radical scavenger, hydro peroxide decomposer and quencher. It is a PP based anti-UV (HALS) masterbatch. Has very narrow additive content specification. Used in extruded and injection molded articles made from PE and PP compatible resins, like PP, PP/EDPM, PP/PE/EDPM blends (TPOs). Can also be used in foils, fibers, automotive bumpers, automotive interior and exterior parts, films, profiles, tapes, ropes, carpets, non-wovens, pipes as well as garden furniture. Recommended dosage level of ADD-VANCE® UV 442 is 0.5-2.0%. PP based anti-UV masterbatch. It also acts as a radical scavenger, hydroperoxide decomposer or quencher. The synergistic blend of HALS stabilizers present in ADD-VANCE® UV 477 inhibits light induced degradation of the substrate. It is based on the newest technical developments of cytec industries in innovative UV stabilization systems. The increased compatibility, solubility and composition of UV stabilizers in the non-polar matrix of ADD-VANCE® UV 477 leads to increased UV stabilizing efficiencies, lower UV dosages and minimal salt formation. Recommended for extruded and injection molded articles made from PE & PP compatible resins, like PP, PP/EPDM, PP/PE/EPDM blends (TPO). Can also be used in glass or wood filled composites for building & construction applications. It is suitable to be used in shutters, siding, solar shingles (BIPV), roofing, geomembranes, tiles, wind turbines and solar cell support. The recommended concentration range is 1-2% depending on the substrate, pigmentation, processing conditions and application. Cleaning masterbatch. It is a ready-to-use, non-toxic additive solution designed for removing impurities from production equipment. It reacts with degraded polymers as well as residual pigments and additives, causing them to swell and loosening them from metal surfaces. ADD-VANCE® Cleaning (formerly: ADD-VANCE® 37) is cost effective and removes black spots in one or two cleaning operations which results in reduction of machine downtime. Can be processed like general thermoplastic granules, processing conditions (temperatures) do not need to be changed. Recommended for thermoplastic materials like olefins and styrenics. Used in extruders and die-systems for all film- and filament / fibres lines as well as injection- and blow molding processes.
