ADD-VANCE® FR 825

ADD-VANCE® FR 825 by AddComp (Altana Group) is an EVA based brominated flame-retardant masterbatch. It contains antimony trioxide (Sb₂O₃) as a synergist and has no environmental impact. It operates in the gas phase to interrupt the propagation chain necessary for flame initiation and continuation. It is highly cost effective and offers good flow properties as well as low dosing rates. Recommended for PP and thick PE products. ADD-VANCE® FR 825 is suitable to be used in extruded/injection molded articles. Can also be used in foils, films, tapes, ropes, crates and electronic equipment. The typical dosing level is 5-10%.
