ADD-VANCE® UV 477

PP based anti-UV masterbatch. It also acts as a radical scavenger, hydroperoxide decomposer or quencher. The synergistic blend of HALS stabilizers present in ADD-VANCE® UV 477 inhibits light induced degradation of the substrate. It is based on the newest technical developments of cytec industries in innovative UV stabilization systems. The increased compatibility, solubility and composition of UV stabilizers in the non-polar matrix of ADD-VANCE® UV 477 leads to increased UV stabilizing efficiencies, lower UV dosages and minimal salt formation. Recommended for extruded and injection molded articles made from PE & PP compatible resins, like PP, PP/EPDM, PP/PE/EPDM blends (TPO). Can also be used in glass or wood filled composites for building & construction applications. It is suitable to be used in shutters, siding, solar shingles (BIPV), roofing, geomembranes, tiles, wind turbines and solar cell support. The recommended concentration range is 1-2% depending on the substrate, pigmentation, processing conditions and application.
